Sierra shuts down Falcons' bid for upset
The Falcons hoped to spoil Sierra's undefeated season on Friday afternoon, but were sent home from Rocklin with a 4-0 loss to the Wolverines. The #2 ranked team in California, Sierra improved their remarkable record to 20-0 (15-0 in Big 8) and have already wrapped up the Big 8 title. While the Falcons were hoping to play spoiler, the bigger picture is focusing on ways to improve as the playoffs draw near. They'll continue that quest as they finish out the regular season with two home matches this week, against Modesto (4-10) on Tuesday and Diablo Valley (7-7) on Friday.
