Falcons Secure First Win of the Season Against Butte
Folsom - In a pivotal match at the Falcon Tri #1 on Friday, the Folsom Lake College Falcons earned their first victory of the season with a decisive 3-1 win over Butte. Entering the game with an 0-5 record and a tough loss earlier in the day to Harnell, the Falcons were determined to turn their fortunes around.
The match, held at Folsom, CA, saw the Falcons come out strong from the beginning. They won the first set comfortably, 25-13, showcasing their resilience and drive. Butte fought back fiercely in the second set, pushing the Falcons to a nail-biting 28-26 finish, but Folsom Lake held their ground.
The Falcons regained their momentum in the third set with a commanding 25-13 victory. They continued their dominant performance into the fourth set, clinching the match with a 25-18 win.
