Solano topples Falcons, 8-1

The men's and women's tennis teams lost to Solano on Friday afternoon in Fairfield by identical 8-1 scores.  On the women's side, sophomore Alora Gardiner was once again the Falcons' lone winner at #3 singles.  Nicci Vaiarello nearly snagged a win at #4 singles, but lost in the tie-breaker, 8-10.  The #1 doubles team of Mallory Snarr and Pipi Gallegos came up just short, losing 6-8.  On the men's side, #5 singles Eric Greer won a 3-set marathon that included two set tie-breakers, 1-6, 7-6 (11-9), 7-6 (13-11).

The women will host Sierra College on Tuesday at 1:00 pm, then both men & women will be in action on Friday when Diablo Valley plays at FLC.
