ARC defeats FLC for Big 8 title

With the 2017 Big 8 championship on the line, the FLC women's tennis team lost to American River Tuesday afternoon at ARC, 7-2.  The Beavers put the Falcons in a hole early when they swept the three doubles matches, and it turned out to be too deep a hole to dig out from.  Freshmen Erin Cline and Laura Parkyn were the lone Falcon winners at #4 and #6 singles, respectively..  Number-two player Abriana Rowe lost a nail-biter by the slimmest of margins, 4-6, 7-5, 9-11.
