Women's Tennis Finish Season in 2nd in Big 8

The Lady Falcons had hoped to claim a portion of the Big 8 title with a victory over Santa Rosa.  The previously rained-out match was played indoors on Monday night due to more rain, but did not go as the Falcons had hoped it would.  The BearCubs swept the three doubles matches, then finished off the Falcons' hopes with victories at number one and two singles.  With the team result (and conference title) decided, the remaining individual matches were suspended with Santa Rosa leading 5-0.  The Falcons rebounded on Tuesday to finalize the Big 8 regular season with a 7-2 victory over Diablo Valley.  Hannah Crookham, Sophie Taber, Arielle Frank, Emma Lewis, and Reener Balingit were all double winners (singles and doubles) in the team's final regular season match.  The second place finish is the highest ever for any FLC tennis team.
