Women's Tennis Drops Close One To American River

The Falcons travelled to American River College on Friday for their final Big 8 Conference match of the season.  The women played especially tough - even without their #1 player, Courtney Comstock - in a close 5-4 loss to the Beavers.  Women's winners included both #2 and #3 doubles teams of Rebecca Billingsley/Emma Berry and Emma Lewis/Stefany Valtman, as well as singles wins by Lewis and Alex Tacuyan.  The Lady Falcons will have a non-conference match next week before the Big 8 Conference Tournament on April 9-11.
