Folsom - The Falcons extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a commanding 2-0 victory over Mt. San Antonio College in a non-conference matchup. The game saw the Mounties travel from Walnut, CA, to Folsom, as both teams battled fiercely on the field.
The Falcons struck early in the first half when freshman Madi Stroh found the back of the net unassisted at the 20:24 mark, giving Folsom Lake a 1-0 lead. The second half featured a surge of momentum sparked by freshmen Tacori Abril and Rachael George. Abril created multiple scoring chances before chipping a remarkable goal from 35 yards out in the 53rd minute to double the lead.
On the defensive side, Falcons' goalkeeper Linnea Sybersma earned the shutout with two saves, while defenders Hope Northrup and Charlize Garaygay played outstanding roles in keeping the Mounties at bay.
