Falcons remain undefeated with 6-3 win over Feather River

Despite allowing a season-high three goals, the FLC women's soccer team remained undefeated with their 6-3 victory over Feather River on Tuesday afternoon at Falcon Stadium.  Freshman Michaela Clark and sophomore Sarah Freed each scored twice for the Falcons, thanks to some unselfish work by Emma Thompson, who assisted on all four goals.   Clark also assisted on a second-half goal by sophomore Julia Swartout before sophomore midfielder Mikayla Smith made the score 6-1 with her goal in the 84th minute.  The visiting Eagles found the net twice in the final minutes to round out the scoring.  Falcon coach Donny Ribaudo used his bench liberally, finding playing time for many non-starters.

With the win, the Falcons improve to 4-0-1 with just one non-conference match remaining before Big 8 play commences next week.  They'll travel to Livermore on Friday to play at Las Positas at 4:00 pm.
