After a sluggish start that saw no scoring in the first 30 minutes, the Falcons' Jaqui Ortega finally found the net in the 31st minute for a 1-0 lead. From there on, it was all FLC as freshmen Andrea Martinez and Hannah O'Donnell scored first-half goals for a 3-0 Falcon lead at the break. A flurry of three goals early in the second half – one each by freshmen Martinez, Karina Torres, and Leily Ghods – affectively put the game out of reach. Freshman Hannah Klinger finished off the scoring with a goal in the 76th minute to make it 7-0. Although neither scored a goal, Paige Florio contributed 3 assists and Alyssa Gallagher added 2 more. The Falcons improved their Bay Valley Conference-leading record to 6-0-1 and are 8-1-2 overall. They travel to Ukiah on Tuesday to take on Mendocino, currently 4-0-2 in the BVC.
