Falcons Dominate Second Half to Defeat Panthers

The Folsom Lake College Falcons extended their strong season with a commanding 77-56 victory over Sacramento City College on Tuesday night. The win improves the Falcons' record to 19-3 overall and 9-1 in conference play, solidifying their position as a top contender.

Despite a slow start, trailing 16-13 after the first quarter, Folsom Lake found their rhythm in the second half, outscoring the Panthers 28-9 in the third quarter to seize control of the game. Their dominant defensive effort and efficient shooting proved too much for Sacramento City to overcome.

Leading the Falcons' charge was a balanced offensive attack, complemented by a stifling defense that held the Panthers to just 14.3% shooting from beyond the arc. Their ability to capitalize on fast-break opportunities and execute in transition played a crucial role in the victory.

Folsom Lake will look to continue their dominant form as they prepare for the next game in their conference slate. With their combination of defensive pressure and offensive efficiency, the Falcons remain a formidable force heading into the final stretch of the season.
