The Folsom Lake women's basketball team is serving notice that they are a team to be reckoned with after yet another solid victory over a winning team. On Saturday afternoon, the Falcons methodically wore down a good Feather River team and pulled away to a convincing 72-58 win. Once again, the Falcons' team depth and unselfish play, combined with a swarming defense, were the keys to victory. Five Falcons scored in double figures, led by Corrie Harrison's double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds). Harrison also added 3 steals, 2 blocked shots, and was a perfect 5-for-5 on free throws. Sophomore forward Eva Graf added 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting while grabbing 7 rebounds, and sophomore guard Daily Applegarth had a big game with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists.
The Falcons will take their undefeated record on the road on Wednesday, when they'll play at Yuba (0-6) at 6:00 pm.
