The Falcons concluded their 2017-18 home schedule with an 84-70 loss to Big 8 third place Delta College (17-9 overall, 10-4 conference) on Friday night at Falcon Gym. The Mustangs were able to score often from inside the key as they built a 14-point lead by halftime. The lead grew to 20 in third quarter before Falcon reserve guard Mackenzie Bailey torched the Mustangs with 4 consecutive three-pointers to close the gap to 11. Bailey finished with a season-high 14 points, Angelina Contreras totaled 23 (on five 3's), and Alma Perez had a solid all-around game with 13 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists. The women will play at Sac City and Modesto this week to wrap up their inaugural season.
