A huge night for Falcons Faith Wilson (30 points) and Angelina Contreras (29 points) led to a 77-65 Folsom Lake victory over Cosumnes River on Tuesday night at Falcon Gym. The win was redemption for the Falcons - who lost a close game at CRC in early January - and it allowed them to move ahead of the Hawks in the Big 8 standings. The Hawks had no solution for the contrasting abilities of the Falcons' leading scorers; Contreras hit 9 three-pointers while Wilson used her speed to repeatedly drive the lane for layups or draw fouls (she finished 9-of-12 from the free throw line). The Falcons (now 2-10 in Big 8, 5-16 overall) will host Diablo Valley (11-1, 18-4 overall) on Friday night at 7:30 pm.
