Falcons Unable to Break Losing Streak Against Mustangs
Stockton – In an important Big 8 conference doubleheader, the Folsom Lake College Falcons clashed with the San Joaquin Delta College Mustangs at the University of the Pacific, due to ongoing renovations at Delta College's Softball field.
Game 1
In the opening matchup, Folsom Lake College Falcons displayed resilience but fell short against a formidable San Joaquin Delta College Mustangs squad. Despite a valiant effort, the Falcons succumbed to a 5-4 defeat in a tightly contested affair.
Aila Lyden showcased her prowess on the mound for Folsom Lake, battling through 6.2 innings, but ultimately absorbing the loss. Offensively, the Falcons were led by Kamora Baptiste, Marica Watson, and Araceli Jaimes, who contributed crucial hits to keep the game competitive.
