Men’s Tennis Opens Eyes at Modesto Tournament
The men travelled to Modesto for the two-day Modesto Tournament and came home with their best showing ever, highlighted by Sean Alves' second place finish in singles. The Falcons had three players reach the consolation finals, including a consolation victory for Bill Bagnas at #6. Alves won his first three matches before losing in the Championship finals to Cody Duong of ARC.
#1 Sean Alves: Second Place - won three matches before losing in finals 4-6, 2-6
#2 Max Hennessey: 2nd place consolation – lost in consolation finals 3-6, 6-7
#3 Shawn Morgan: won in first round, lost in second round
#4 Francisco Garcia: 2nd place consolation; won 3 matches, lost in consolation finals 3-6, 1-6
#5 Praj Ta: suffered an injury in the first round and was forced to withdraw
#6 Bill Bagnas: Consolation champion; won finals 7-6, 6-1
