South Lake Tahoe, CA – After a 3-0 opening day victory at home against Clovis, the Falcons headed to the mountains to face the Lake Tahoe Community College, Coyotes on Friday. After 90 minutes of play, it was the Falcons, once again, who came out on top by a final score of 1-0.
The lone goal came in the 63rd minute of play from freshmen Blake Garcia.
Splitting time at goal and preserving the team shutout were Julian Luna and Alonso Ruiz. Luna had 3 saves in the first half, and Ruiz had 2 saves in the second half.
