Falcons improve to 4-0 with lopsided win over Yuba

The depth of the FLC men's soccer team was never more evident than it was on Tuesday evening, as eight different Falcons scored goals on their way to a dominating 8-0 victory over Yuba College in Marysville.  State-leading scorer Miguel Medina got things started with a goal in the seventh minute – his sixth of the season – and the Falcons never looked back.  Sophomore midfielder Christian de Lima and transfer forward Tommy Flora added first-half goals for a 3-0 lead at halftime.  The second half saw more of the same as the Falcons wore down the 49ers with five goals; one each by freshmen Tanner Boyea, Eddie Ramirez, Adrian Jimenez, Mouad Zehnouni, and Adam Ratto

With the win, the Falcons improved to 4-0 and have scored 19 goals while giving up just one.  They will hope to continue their run of success on Thursday afternoon when they take on Lake Tahoe CC at South Tahoe at 5:00 pm.
