Falcons Triumph in Intense Rematch Against American River 88-77, Victory Caps Three-Game Winning Streak

Sacramento  - In a match-up that saw the first game go into overtime with a Beaver 88-84 victory, this game had just as much excitement but this time it was the Falcons who came out on top with a final score of 88-77.

Both teams showcased tremendous energy and offensive prowess from the outset. Long-range shots rained down from all corners of the court, with a total of 8 three-pointers made in the initial 12 minutes. The Falcons initially seized a 5-0 lead, but from there on, the game became a seesaw battle.

As the first half progressed, the Falcons asserted their dominance after 14 minutes, stringing together baskets on offense and making crucial stops on the defensive end. The Falcons held their largest lead at 14 points, heading into halftime with a score of 48-34.

Te'And Indalecio had a stellar first half, contributing all 16 points. In the second half, the Beavers quickly scored 4 points, but the Falcons regained control, pushing the lead back to 52-36. The game fluctuated between a 15 and 11-point lead for the majority of the second half, seemingly under control until the Beavers mounted a last-ditch effort. Intense backcourt pressure led to turnovers, allowing the Beavers to convert them into points and narrow the lead to 5 points at 80-75.

With 1:22 left in the game, Tyson Hazel delivered a critical three-pointer, his only one of the game, extending the lead to 8 points. The Falcons managed to regain composure, handle the pressure, and execute on offense. Late free throws sealed the deal, and the Falcons celebrated their third consecutive victory with an 88-77 win!
