Folsom –In an intense showdown, the Falcons fought valiantly but ultimately succumbed to San Joaquin Delta College with a final score of 72-67.

 

First Half Struggles: Falcons Trail Early

Folsom Lake faced early challenges in the first half as San Joaquin Delta asserted dominance, leading 36-24 at halftime. Te'And Indalecio and Jordan Hess faced shooting difficulties, but the home team remained resilient, with Alan Davis, Jr.'s impressive rebounding keeping them within striking distance.

 

Second Half Surge: Folsom Lake College Mounts Comeback

Down by 12 at halftime, the Falcons rallied in the second half with renewed energy. Joaquin Battle's sharpshooting and Miko Bear's double-double performance brought the home team back into contention. Anthony Arguelles added a scoring spark off the bench, and Tyson Hazel's playmaking fueled the comeback attempt.

 

Individual Standouts: Battle and Bear Lead the Charge

Joaquin Battle emerged as Folsom Lake's leading scorer, contributing 10 points, including two crucial three-pointers. Miko Bear's tenacious play in the paint resulted in an impressive double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Arguelles provided a valuable scoring boost, finishing with 14 points on efficient shooting.

Jordan Hess and Tyson Hazel combined for seven steals, disrupting San Joaquin Delta's offensive rhythm.
