Falcons dominate second half, pull away to defeat De Anza, 87-70

The Folsom Lake men's basketball team finally made their first appearance on the home floor on Friday night and took control of a close game in the second half to earn their fourth win of the season, 87-70 over De Anza.  The Falcons started quickly and looked like they might blow away the Mountain Lions, but the visitors made sure that didn't happen and actually grabbed a lead near the end of the first half.  The score remained close until 8 minutes into the second half when the Falcons, with a narrow 54-50 lead, hit back-to-back 3-pointers, a three-point play on a layup with a foul, and then another 3-pointer.  Suddenly the lead was 17 points.  Backup point guard Jordan Hess hit three 3-pointers during that run and finished with 11 points and numerous steals.  Javon Robinson led the Falcons with 20 points and 8 rebounds and was one of five Falcons to score in double figures.  Donovan Cokley also had a hot hand and poured in 17 points, while Dane Johnson tallied 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 blocks.  Freshman guard Ta'And Indalecio added 14 points and 7 assists from his point guard position.

The Falcons, now. 4-6 and winners of three of their last four, will play at Solano (1-7) on Tuesday and at Las Positas (8-4) on Saturday.
