Falcon men hit a wall in 2nd half, fall to Chabot in playoff opener, 92-69

Playing in their first postseason basketball game in program history at Chabot College in Hayward on Tuesday night, the Folsom Lake men learned that it takes more than one good half to win a playoff game. The Falcons took it to the Gladiators in the first half and led by as much as 18 points before Chabot closed the gap to 12 at halftime, 48-36.  The second half, however, turned into a nightmare for the Falcons as the Gladiators caught fire.  Contributing to their demise was a cold shooting spell that saw the Falcons make just 3 of 16 shots over the final 12 minutes of play.  To their credit, the Gladiators made the necessary halftime adjustments and outscored the Falcons 56-21 over the final 20 minutes.

Statistically, the Falcons got 17 points each from Yaadvir Dhaliwal and Pierce Rexford, and Cameron Wall added 13 points while dishing out 9 assists.  The Falcons finished the season at 16-12 -  the first winning record in program history - and ranked #13 in northern California.
