Panthers topple Falcons

Playing on the road in their second-to-last game of the season, the FLC men's basketball team struggled to find their shooting touch and fell behind early in their 92-65 loss at Sacramento City on Tuesday night.  The Falcons made a strong push midway through the first half to close the gap, but never got closer than eight points as the Panthers hit timely three's and managed to do what few teams have accomplished this season: hold Falcon Zethan Dumpson to fewer than 20 points (he finished with 16).  Falcon guard Isiah Maun regained his shooting touch for 25 points and DJ Heidelberg continued his renaissance with 19 points in the loss.  The Falcons will conclude their inaugural season on Thursday night when they play at Modesto at 5:30 pm.
