Playing at Diablo Valley College on Saturday afternoon, the Falcons nearly toppled a very good Vikings team before falling, 78-70. The Falcons fell behind by 12 at half (40-28), but made the necessary defensive adjustments to get back in the game as they closed to within two points but couldn't get the lead. Zethan Dumpson scored 26 points and grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds for the Falcons, while Isiah Maun added 24 points and 12 rebounds. Kouri Kling scored a season-high 15 points, and Alex Clingan had 9 rebounds in the loss. The Falcons have a bye on Tuesday, then resume Big 8 play on Thursday at Delta College in Stockton.
