First-year Falcons taste victory for first time!

At the Chabot College Tournament on Saturday, the FLC men's basketball team didn't do themselves any favors as they dug a deep hole, falling behind Chabot College by 16 points at halftime.  But the Falcons didn't quit and eventually came all the way back to defeat the Gladiators, 81-79, for the first-ever victory for FLC men's basketball.  Zethan Dumpson led the team with 31 points while Isiah Maun had 20.

FLC head coach Bill Benford was happy to get that first win, but he also realizes there's work still to do.  "We learned a lot about our team this weekend and will have to hit the practice court hard in preparation for our next set of games," noted coach Benford.  The Falcons don't play again until December 1-2, when they travel to Sonora for the Columbia College Tournament.
