Falcons Fall Short Against Golden Eagles in Non-Conference Clash

Quincy - In a non-conference showdown against the Feather River College Golden Eagles, the Folsom Lake College Falcons took to the diamond in Quincy, CA, in a hard-fought battle that ended with a 7-4 loss.

Despite being on a Big 8 bye week, the Falcons showed their competitive spirit, with notable performances from Logan Pruski, Braeden Frank, and Nate Vargas at the plate. Pruski and Frank both contributed crucial RBIs, while Vargas showcased his hitting prowess with a double and two RBIs.

However, the Golden Eagles soared early, establishing a lead with stellar hitting from Andrew Lehmann, who smashed a homer and accumulated four RBIs. Their offensive prowess continued throughout the game, maintaining a lead that proved challenging for the Falcons to overcome.

On the pitching front, Gavin McLendon, Carter Henninger, Jake McKowen, Ryan Edwards, and Collin Huston all took the mound for the Falcons, but struggled to contain the Golden Eagles' potent lineup. Despite their efforts, the Falcons couldn't stifle Feather River's offense entirely.
