Falcons Dominate Opening Game Against American River College

Folsom - In a thrilling start to a three-game series, the Folsom Lake College Falcons soared to victory against the American River College Beavers in a commanding 13-2 win. The game showcased the Falcons' offensive prowess and solid pitching performances.

The American River Batters struggled to gain momentum against Folsom Lake's pitching lineup. Darin Eales provided an early highlight for the Beavers with a solo home run in the first inning, but it was Folsom Lake who took control from there.

Folsom Lake's Logan Pruski set the tone with a home run in the first inning, sparking a series of impressive offensive plays. Max Debiec contributed a two-RBI single, and Quincy Malbrough added a sacrifice fly, giving Folsom Lake a 4-1 lead in the first inning.

The Falcons continued to dominate, with Pruski hitting another home run in the second inning, extending their lead to 5-1. Debiec's two-run homer in the fifth inning further solidified Folsom Lake's control over the game, bringing the score to 7-1.

American River managed to score in the sixth inning with Wyatt Winalski's double, but Folsom Lake quickly answered back. Malbrough's single and Austin Menesini's double added three more runs to the Falcons' tally, pushing the lead to 11-2.

Folsom Lake's pitching staff also delivered a stellar performance. Gavin McLendon pitched five innings, allowing only one earned run and striking out eight batters. Carter Henninger and Jake McKowen continued the strong pitching, securing the victory for the Falcons.
