Falcons Sweep Bear Cubs

Folsom, CA – The Falcons (25-9, 13-8) scored 10 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning to take a comfortable 10-0 lead against the visiting Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs (24-8, 13-5) on Friday. In the 5^th inning, Andrew Neil hit a solo homerun to put the Falcons up 11-0. This homerun by Neil ended up being the game-winning run as the Bear Cubs rallied to score 10 runs in the final four innings. The final score of the game was 12-10 in favor of the Falcon's. This win completes the three-game sweep of the Bear Cubs and puts the Falcons in a good position to move up in the standing if they can continue this week's momentum against the American River College Beavers in their final Big-8 Conference series.
