Falcons take series opener at Diablo Valley

The Folsom Lake baseball team opened week seven of the Big 8 season on Tuesday with yet another win, an 8-4 victory over Diablo Valley in Pleasant Hill.  Falcon starter Carter Delaney did not allow an earned run in his six+ innings of work, although he was charged with four runs thanks to an error in the fifth inning.  Will Jacobson took over in the seventh inning and shut out the Vikings over the final 2-2/3 innings.  The Falcons got a home run from Jeff Bauser and doubles from Jared Breedwell, JT Waldon, and Drake Digiorno.  Digiorno also added a triple and Waldon had three RBI as the Falcons improved to 27-6-1 for the season.
