The Falcons put together an offensive clinic on Thursday afternoon, scoring 19 runs on 18 hits – including 6 doubles and 2 triples – and 11 walks on their way to a 19-1 drubbing of Contra Costa in San Pablo. It could have been even worse, as the Falcons left a total of 16 runners on base in the rout. Shortstop Isaiah Lissade had four hits - 3 of them doubles – while left fielder Braeden Holliday and DH Garrett Bugarin each had 3 RBI. Freshman pitcher Hayden Nabers was masterful, throwing 8 innings of two-hit ball while allowing no earned runs. The only black cloud of the day was that the Falcons committed 6 fielding errors, but still managed to allow just one run.
