The Falcons opened the 2019 season with a heart-stopping win in Oroville on Friday afternoon, allowing two 9th-inning runs and loading the bases before getting the final out on a strikeout by Ricky Espinoza. Starter Andrew Vaughn threw 5 sparkling innings to earn the win, allowing just one hit and one unearned run. Shortstop Isaiah Lissade had three hits, including a double, while DH Alex Schroeder was 2-for-4 with a home run.
