Folsom Lake College (FLC) hit the sand with determination in a challenging series of beach volleyball matches, demonstrating perseverance and growth despite facing formidable opponents.

In their opening contest against Feather River College (FRC), FLC's top pair, McKecknie and Jones, faced a tough battle but continued to push through each rally with effort and energy. Though FLC fell in straight sets across the lineup, the 3s team of Ayers and Boldyreva showed strong resistance, keeping their matches competitive with scores of 21-17 and 21-13.

The FLC squad found its stride against Siskiyous, securing two victories to mark a turning point in their day. McKecknie and Jones led the charge, controlling their match from start to finish with a 21-15, 21-13 win. Boldyreva and Moore followed with another solid performance, securing a 21-13, 21-7 victory, showcasing their improving chemistry and court awareness.

In their final matchup against Simpson University, FLC displayed resilience with another standout performance from McKecknie and Jones, who claimed a hard-fought 21-14, 21-19 victory. Ayers and Boldyreva added to the team's success, mounting an impressive comeback after dropping their first set to win 17-21, 21-17, 15-12.
