Volleyball Opens Season with Three Road Wins

Folsom, CA - The Falcons opened their 2023 campaign with four road matches, winning the first three and dropping the fourth.

Their first win of the season came against City College of San Francisco in straight sets (25-10, 25-10, 25-17). The Falcons then faced off against Los Medanos College. After 5 sets it was the Falcons who were victorious taking 3 of 5 sets from the Mustangs (14-25, 29-27, 25-14, 25-14, 16-14).

In their third match of the season, an injured Falcons team took on College of the Sequoias and pull off an unlikely victory in 4 sets (26-24, 21-25, 25-19, 25-15). Finally, in their fourth match, the Falcons took on Solano College but had nothing left in the tank after putting it all on the line against College of the Sequoias earlier the same day. The Falcons lost to Solano College 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-14).
