Falcons defeat Diablo Valley in straight sets

Unlike 2016 when the FLC women's volleyball team lost a very win-able match at Diablo Valley College, the Falcons made sure they did not stumble on Wednesday night in Pleasant Hill as they took three straight sets from the Vikings, 25-16, 25-13, and 25-21.  Coach Matt Torrez was able to play his entire roster, with significant contributions from freshman setter Ashley Lewis and outside hitter Gwen Hernandez.  Also of note, the Falcons recorded a season-high 12 service aces.  With the win, the Falcons improved to 17-2 overall and are now 8-1 (and tied for first) in Big 8 Conference play.
