Volleyball team wins home opener

After two tournaments on the road (and another postponed due to lack of air conditioning), the FLC women's volleyball team finally had their 2017 home opening match on Tuesday afternoon at Falcon Gym and made the most of it.  In a match that was every bit as close as the set scores, the Falcons defeated a pesky DeAnza College squad in 4 sets (25-23, 25-23, 20-25, and 25-22) to remain undefeated in 2017.  Sophomore Kylie Haverson was again the Falcons' biggest weapon as she led the team in kills, and Rylyn Campbell punctuated the win with a massive kill to end the match.
