Women's Tennis Edges Sierra

The Falcons opened their Big 8 Conference schedule at Sierra College on Tuesday afternoon and continued their run of victories as they edged the Wolverines, 5-4.  The Falcons won on the strength of the Frank sisters (Anjelica and Ariel) and Sophie Taber, all of whom were winners in both singles and doubles.  Ariel Frank lost her first set before coming back to take the next two, while Anjelica and Sophie won in straight sets.  The Falcons will put their 5-0 record on the line when they travel to Santa Rosa on Friday to face the defending Big 8 Champion Bearcubs.

Hannah Crookham lost 6-4, 0-6, 4-6               

Sophie Taber won 6-2, 7-5                               

Anjelica Frank won 6-2, 6-2                              

Ariel Frank won 3-6, 6-3, 6-0

Emma Lewis lost 1-6, 1-6

Alex Tacuyan lost 2-6, 3-6
