With four first-half goals, the Falcons extended their BVC unbeaten streak to 35 matches (since September of 2013) with the 4-0 victory. Sophomore Sami Thomas netted two goals, tying her with teammate Andrea Martinez for sixth in the state in scoring (both with 14 goals and 6 assists). Freshman Karina Torres scored the Falcons' first goal in the 10th minute of play - assisted by Jaqui Ortega - and sophomore McKenna Dunn added the final goal. With the win, the Falcons remain in first place in the BVC at 8-0-1 and are 10-1-2 overall. They'll travel to Fresno on Tuesday for a non-conference test against unbeaten Fresno City College, currently ranked number one in California (the Falcons are ranked 7th).
