Dalton Drives in Game-Winner in Extra Innings

Modesto, CA – For the second time this week, the Falcons (15-21, 9-12) found themselves in an extra inning game. This time it was the Falcons that were able to secure the victory after giving up the lead in the bottom of the 7^th inning to the Modesto Junior College Pirates (11-28, 3-20). The final score of the game was 10-8 in favor of the Falcons. The game winning hit came in the top of the 11^th inning when Freshmen, Donna Joe Dalton hit a one-out double, with teammate, Emma Gaytan, in scoring position. The Falcons then added an insurance run when Marissa Alders hit a single to left field, bringing in Dalton from second base.
