In the afternoon game, the Falcons actually outhit the Jaguars (8-7) but errors in the third inning led to three unearned runs and a 4-1 deficit. The Falcons responded with a run in the fourth, but that would be all as they fell 4-2. Freshman Sara Thibaut collected two hits – including a double – and an RBI, and catcher Kaitlyn Karmazin had an RBI single.
The Falcons (1-3) will host Butte College (3-2) in a Saturday afternoon doubleheader at Falcon Diamond beginning at 12 noon.
