Softball drops a pair to Napa

Despite outhitting their opponent in game one and almost again in game two, the Falcons could not get a win as they fell to Napa Valley twice yesterday in Napa, 5-0 and 9-4.  The Falcons tallied six hits in the opener – including three for leftfielder Hailee Gall - , but could not push across any runs.  In the late game, Napa had to come from behind after the Falcons built a 4-2 lead in the third inning.  Abbie Strickland and Brooke Stacy led the Falcon offense with two hits apiece in the loss.  The Falcons now sit in fifth place in the BVC at 4-10 with a chance to pick up some wins against their next two opponents.
