Falcons open CCCAA playoffs at home as #3 seed

The Falcon men will also play at home through the first two rounds of the playoffs after learning that they're the #3 seed in the Northern California Region.  In a strange twist of fate, the Falcons will host Regional #14 seed and Big 8 Conference co-champion Cosumnes River (10-7-3 overall) at 5:00 pm on Saturday.  The teams split their two head-to-head matches this season with the home team being the victor on each occasion.  Statistically, the Falcons outscored their opponents 49-15 while the Hawks held a 58-22 advantage for the season.  The winner of Saturday's match will face either #6 Santa Rosa (10-4-5, another Big 8 Conference team!) or #11 Merced (10-4-6) on Tuesday, Nov 23. 

Again, ticket prices for the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) postseason game are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old.
