Falcon men erupt for 6 goals in win over Modesto

The Folsom Lake men's soccer team overcame a sluggish start at Modesto on Tuesday afternoon, but eventually found the net six times in their shutout victory over the Pirates.  Sophomore Kameron Kascht got the Falcons on the board in the 25th minute with his team-leading fifth goal of the season.  With the seal on the goal broken, Armando Jiminez then added two first-half goals - his first two of the season - in the 35th and 45th minutes, both on assists by Freddie Allen.  The score remained 3-0 until late in the second half, when the Falcons added three goals in the game's final 10 minutes; two by Nathan Gosal and the final one by Zwannah Johnson.

The win improved the Falcons' season record to 6-1-3 and evened their Big 8 Conference record at 1-1.  They'll host Cosumnes River (5-4-1 overall, 2-0 in Big 8 - with wins over Santa Rosa and American River) under the Falcon Stadium lights on Friday evening at 6:30.
