Falcons rally from 2-goal deficit to tie Lake Tahoe

The Falcons made their way through the aftermath of the Caldor Fire on Saturday as they traveled to South Lake Tahoe to take on Lake Tahoe College, where they rallied back from an 0-2 deficit to come home with a 2-2 tie.  The Falcons started the game out rather flat and the Coyotes sensed the early opportunity, scoring a goal in the game's first five minutes.  The rest of the first half went without any scoring, but when the Coyotes added a goal early in the second half, things looked bleak for the visitors.  Sophomore Arjan Chahal energized the Falcons with a goal in the 70th minute, and a flicker of hope turned into a flame.  The Falcons then tied the match in the 85th minute on Freddie Allen's shot that glanced off a defender's head and into the net, causing a big Falcon celebration.  After the match, the Falcon coaching staff selected sophomore midfielder Omar Ramirez as the "Man of the Match" for the second time in three games.

The Falcons (5-0-3) will open Big 8 Conference play this Friday when they host Santa Rosa (3-2-2) at 4:00 pm.
