Falcons earn hard-fought win at West Valley

With a short turn-around after Friday night's match, the Falcons took the field on a hot Saturday morning at West Valley College in Saratoga still smarting from the close loss the night before.  With Omar Sosa and Austyn Ciampa providing stout defensive pressure, the Falcons stymied the Vikings' offensive threats throughout the match.  FLC sophomore Santiago Peniche found the net in the 30^th minute for a 1-0 Falcon lead and it turned out to be the only goal of the hard-fought match.  Freshman goalkeeper Kody Madore earned the shutout victory with eight saves as the Falcons improved their record to 2-1-1.
