With a two-week break in their Big 8 Conference schedule, the FLC men hosted Clovis College in a non-conference match at Falcon Stadium Tuesday afternoon. Neither team looked particularly sharp with sloppy passing dominating play for both sides as the first half ended in a scoreless tie. Halftime adjustments seemed to improve the quality of play, but goals were still hard to come by as the match remained scoreless for another 25 minutes. In the 75th minute, however, Clovis broke through with a goal to take a 1-0 lead. The Falcons didn't wait long to answer back, as Jose Munoz responded less than a minute later to tie the score. With both teams desperately trying to add another goal in the final minutes, the match ended in a 1-1 tie. The Falcons' record now stands at 6-2-3 overall. Their next match is Friday afternoon in Visalia against College of Sequoias at 4:00 pm.
