Men Defeated by Contra Costa

In game two of the home doubleheader, the FLC men found themselves on the short end of a 3-1 final score in their final home game of the season.  As has been the case throughout this inaugural season, the Falcons seemed to dominate possession time, but missed on several scoring opportunities.  Down 2-0 early in the second half, Benjamin Krig found Colby Haffner in front of the goal for a clean shot that tightened the score to 2-1.  The Falcons continued their assault on the Contra Costa goalkeeper throughout the second half but could not get anything into the net.  The men will finish their season with three games on the road starting with Friday's match at College of Marin at 2:00 pm.
