Falcons Rising: Men Tie

The Falcons started strong and were the aggressors early, but got caught on a counter-attack and gave up an early goal in the 12th minute.  Undaunted, they continued their aggressive play and were eventually rewarded when Sam Garcia headed in a goal off a corner kick from Trever Lanthier in the 40th minute for the first goal in FLC men's soccer history.

The second half saw the Falcons continue to dictate the pace as they outshot the Rams 12-3, but could not get anything past the Gavilan goalkeeper.  "We dominated possession time, but their goalkeeper kept them in the game," noted FLC coach Martin Roberts.  "We're progressing with each game; I'm still very confident in this team."

With their record now at 0-2-1, the Falcons' next game will be tomorrow (Tuesday) at Modesto JC at 3:30 pm.
