Falcons take third at Reedley Invitational

The Folsom Lake golf team, riding a 6-match winning streak in Big 8 play, tested themselves against against some stiff competition on Monday in the Reedley Invititional Tournament at the Ridge Creek Country Club and came home with a third place team finish.  The Falcons shot a team score of 375, six strokes behind team champion Fresno City and just a single stroke behind Reedley.  Sophomore Drew Greco shot the Falcons' best score with a 72, followed closely by Giacomo Sorrentino's 73.  All six Falcon golfers scored in the 70's and gained some confidence for next month's NorCal Regional, when they'll face Fresno City and Reedley again.

The Falcons are off next week, then resume Big 8 tournament play on Monday April 18 at Chardonnay in Napa.
