Falcon golfers win again, extend overall Big 8 lead

 The Folsom Lake men's golf team won their sixth straight tournament on Wednesday in Big 8 Tournament #8 at Turlock Country Club, thereby giving them an undefeated record for the entire month of March.  The Falcons shot an impressive team score of 363, finishing nine strokes ahead of runner-up Napa Valley and just two strokes off the all-time FLC team scoring record of 361.  All six Falcon golfers shot in the 70's, with Giacomo Sorrentino and Hayden Herrick both carding a 71.  The Falcons increased their lead in the Big 8 standings to 8 points over Napa Valley, their nearest competitor.

The Falcons travel to Reedley on Monday for a Regional tournament, then have two weeks off until Big 8 Tournament #9 on Monday April 18 at Chardonnay in Napa.
