Golfers win Big 8 preview match
After two weeks of down time since their last tournament, the FLC men's golf team finally got to play a match on Monday afternoon and earned their first team victory of 2018. Playing a Big 8 preview match (does not count toward the standings) at Wildhorse Golf Club in Davis, the Falcons shot a team score of 385 as they easily outdistanced 2nd place Sierra by 16 strokes. Despite the cold and blustery conditions, Connor Gaymon and Max Menconi both shot 75 to lead the team. The Falcons will hope to use Monday's momentum when they play Big 8 Tournament #1 today at Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin.
