Falcon golfers take second at Big 8 tournament #9
The FLC men's golf team shot a team score of 393 as they finished second to Sierra College in Monday's Big 8 tournament #9 at Stockton Country Club. Just five strokes separated the two teams who are battling for the Big 8 championship, as Sierra finished with 388 to edge slightly closer in the Big 8 standings. The Falcons were again led by sophomores Mason Troike and Chad VanderDussen, who shot 74 and 77, respectively. With just four tournaments remaining, the Falcons hold an 8-point lead over Sierra with Santa Rosa a distant third (points are awarded for each tournament based on team finish place: 10-8-6-4-2).
